What Is The Cause Of Yellow Cannabis Leaves?

As a cannabis cultivator, you might have taken impeccable care of your plant by offering it everything it requires. But, despite all of your efforts, if the leaves are turning yellow, then stop worrying about it. This is because it isn’t too late yet. There are various ways to diagnose the issues and prevent them from reoccurring, such as:

1- Water them properly: Avoid over-or-under watering your plants. If possible, always plant your cannabis plant in a pot with drain holes to get rid of excess water.

2- Provide proper nutrients: If you notice yellowing at the plant’s base, then the nutrient deficiency is the main reason. Slowly increases the nutrient’s concentration. If excessive nutrients are the reason, then flush the root system with fresh water. You can even use magnesium supplements for magnesium deficiency.

3- Prevent the light burn: If the yellowing is on the top of the plant, then the main reason may be the light source. And this means your plant is suffering from a light burn. Ensure to move the plant away from the light source at least 8 to 20 inches.

4- Avoid excessive temperature: Discoloration can also be caused due to excessive temperature. This issue is most common among the leaves at the top. So, use a fan or root insulation as required.
